Ibanez ART300 Alligator Top 6-String Electric Guitar

The ART300 is an ART series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2008. It was produced in China.

A unique feature of the ART300 is a textured maple top which is made to resemble caiman skin. Other features include a mahogany body mated to a set-in mahogany neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and diamond-shaped pearloid position markers. Components include dual Ibanez active LoZ humbucking pickups powered by two AA batteries, a Tune-o-matic style Gibraltar III bridge with Quik Change III tailpiece and black speed knobs.

Blackberry Caiman and Green Caiman finishes were added to the lineup in 2009 and the Violet Caiman finish was added for 2010.

The ART300 was discontinued after 2011.
